Who we are

Hemless is an iPhone app that designs outfits for you and finds real products to match them. It is operated by Cole Beezley, an individual developer ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the app, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: support@hemless.com.

To show local weather, the app looks up your approximate city from your IP address (via ipapi.co), or uses a city you pick, and asks Open-Meteo for that area's forecast. We do not collect your precise (GPS) location, contacts, health data, or payment information. We do not use advertising identifiers.

How we use it

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

AI processing and service providers

Hemless uses third-party AI services to do its core work. Before the app first sends anything to these providers, it asks your permission. They process your content on our behalf to return a result; we do not permit them to use it for advertising.

Weather lookups go straight from your device to ipapi.co (your IP address, to estimate your city) and Open-Meteo (that area's coordinates). Infrastructure providers store or carry data for us: Supabase (sign-in), Neon (database), Cloudflare R2 (images), Railway (servers), Sentry (error reports), and Apple (push notifications).

Sharing

We share data only with the providers above, and when the law requires it. We do not sell your data and do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Outfit images you generate may appear, without your name or photos, in other users' feeds as style inspiration. Photos you upload are never shown to other users.

When you tap through to a store, you leave Hemless; that store's own privacy policy applies.

Retention and deleting your account

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account any time in Profile → Delete account. Deleting removes your sign-in right away, and your profile, photos, chat history and saved outfits within 30 days. Error logs and backups age out within 90 days.

Outfit images that already appeared in other users' feeds carry no personal information and may remain.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data by emailing support@hemless.com. You can edit your style profile in the app, and turn off notifications in iOS Settings. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have further rights, including complaining to your local data-protection authority.

Children

Hemless is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to people who run the service, and sign-in is handled by Supabase. No system is perfectly secure.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the effective date and tell you in the app.
